The other day the giant and global company IKEA launched a new 2030 forest agenda “To push for improved forest management and biodiversity globally.”
They say that they want to use their size and reach to eliminate degradation and deforestation in the World. The new forest agenda is a way to “ramp up the work to further enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change and drive innovation to use wood in smarter ways.”
Should more companies like IKEA engage themselves in this kind of issues? Or is it just a show for the gallery to gain more sales?Read our article and IKEA:s pressrelease here:
