An article here at forestry.com (link below) claims that it should be possible to “rent out” the forest for carbon sink, and get payed for it. It really sounds too good to be true. Theoretically it seems possible, according to the article, but is there a state or a country somewhere that really cares THAT much for the environment that they would do that?

New Zealand has a system….I don’t know much about it but they have a market price that fluctuates etc.
