I’m looking to make a trip to Sweden in the spring of 2022 to go to a forestry show. I noticed there is now a rival To Elmia…can someone tell me which one is better? Differences between the two shows?

Hi Ben,
All of the major manufacturers have decided to participate at the Swedish Forestry Expo show 2022. In fact, this show is organized by some of the companies through their association. This also means that they will not be present at the Elmia Wood show. If there will be an Elmia Wood 2022 at all….? Elmia has fired 60% of the staff because of the covid and question is if they are able to get a forestry show up and running until June 2022?The Forest Expo will not be in the woods but in a horse race arena close to Stockholm.

It’s a pity what is happening at Elmia Wood for the moment. First they couldn’t get along with the major machine manufacturers who then decided to make their own show – Swedish Forestry Expo. And then the Covid-19 shit upon that. No one from the forestry team at Elmia is still there so it will for sure be a challenge to start Elmia Wood up again. It is however doable … with the right people.
Let me know when you come Ben 🙂 - July 31, 2021 at 9:49 pm #10784
