AnonymousI recently finished the interview process for a forester position with the Forest Service, and am now playing the waiting game until they make selections the week of the 13th of January.
I know it’s generally recommended that people call the locations they’re wanting to work, and luckily I have a lot of connections to the place where I REALLY want to end up.
I wanted to ask this group how they’d go about starting that conversation, or what to even say during the conversation. The best I have come up with is “I’m really interested in coming back to this location and continuing work there” but I don’t know what else to say that would leave a positive impression. Any suggestions help!!
