I have been in unofficial contact with a Komatsu employee about this. He claimed not to know all details but said that the valve in use is a standard Parker directional valve. They are also using hydraulic cylinders with precision position transducers (sensor).

Thank you, Steve! I traveled this area 7-8 weeks ago and got stunned by all clear cutting that was done in recent years. I assume it is damage from bark beetles. Do you know how forestland is owned in this area? Government land that is leased out to the forest-logging industry?

Tack Gunnar! Hade inte följt tråden på gamla Skogsforum. Har nu ögnat igenom den och förstår lite bättre hur läget är i Sverige med GranBarkBorren, GBB.

Just home from a 4 day trip to Banff AB last week…
My 3rd visit but the 1st for my wife…
Had “mountain scenery orgasms” all 4 days rounded off with a grizzly bear and a black bear within 2 minutes, about 35 miles or 50 km north of Lake Louise ABPer Agesson became a registered member 5 years ago
